Definition of Die Casting



Die casting is a kind of metal smelting and processing process, is a kind of molten alloy liquid under the action of high pressure to fill the cavity of the steel mold at high speed, and make the alloy liquid solidify under pressure and form the casting method, somewhat similar to "plastic injection molding". The main characteristic of die-casting that distinguishes it from other casting methods is high pressure and high speed.


Classification of Aluminum Alloy Die Casting



Commonly used aluminum alloy is deformed aluminum alloy, which refers to the aluminum alloy whose organization and shape are changed by punching, bending, rolling and extruding. It is divided into two categories: heat treatment non-reinforced type and heat treatable reinforced type.



Heat treatment non-reinforced type refers to the aluminum alloy that cannot be quenched to improve its strength, such as aluminum-manganese alloy and aluminum-magnesium alloy (commonly called rust-proof aluminum in China). Heat-treatable reinforced aluminum alloy means that the strength can be improved by heat treatment, such as hard aluminum, super hard aluminum and satin aluminum.

4. High material utilization.Due to the high precision of die casting, it can be assembled and used only after a small amount of machining,Some die castings can be directly assembled and used.
